Congratulations on your retirement Lieutenant Jason Merchant!!!
Jason has been with WFFD since 2016 and was previously with Croft Fire Department as an Assistant Chief from 1998 – 2016. He also worked a short time for Lake Cunningham FD and Boiling Springs FD, as well as Spartanburg EMS.
He has served over 25 years with the Spartanburg County Fire Service and will be missed by all of us! Jason and his wife Brandi, have 2 young sons, Connor, 7 and Colton who is almost 8 months old.
