Westview-Fairforest Fire Department is hosting a Child Passenger Technician Class at our Station 1 location – 311 N. Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
The class will run April 13th – April 15th from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, and April 16th from 8:30 am until 2:00 pm. On April 16th we will have a Child Passenger Safety Installation Free Event.
The standardized child passenger safety technician (CPST) certification course is 4 days long and combines classroom instruction, hands-on work with car seats and vehicles, and a community safety seat checkup. Attendance is required for the entire course.

Once you have an account, you will search the date of this class and register. The class fee is $95. On day 4, you get hands-on training from what you have learned by installing different styles and manufacturers of Child Passenger Safety Seats at the CPS Event.
