WFFD has an opening for a Firefighter / EMT-B preferred.  This position responds to emergencies including fire suppression and emergency medical response calls.  It will be a 24/48 rotation shift schedule.

Qualifications are:

• Must be minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum Valid Class D SC Driver’s License (will obtain a Class E)
• IFSAC Firefighter II
• NREMT-Basic – min. preferred  (If no EMT must receive within a year of hire date)
• Haz-Mat Ops Certification
• EVDT and Pump Ops 1 (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years Firefighting experience

Candidate offered the position must pass a SLED Background, Pre-employment Drug Screening and Pre-Employment Physical.
