Westview-Fairforest Fire Department Celebrated their annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 12, with a catered meal for the Staff, Commissioners and their families.
As we do each year, we take this time to recognize any of Staff who received a service award for the year and the Achievement Award for 2015.
This year we had two milestone awards – both were 20 year awards.
Lieutenant Ivan B. Settle has been with WFFD since September 6, 1995. Ivan is a Firefighter / Paramedic on our B-Shift. He is married to Meredith Settle, who is also a Paramedic with Belton EMS. Ivan and has a daughter Reagan, who plays Lacrosse for Byrnes High School. We appreciate Ivan’s service with WFFD and congratulate him on 20 years.

Captain Robert L. Grizzle has been with WFFD since October 11, 1995. Robert is a Firefighter / EMT-B on our A-Shift. He is married to Tammy Grizzle, who works in accounting at Adidas. They have a daughter, Christine, who attends Gable Middle School and enjoys drama and chorus. We appreciate Robert’s continued service with WFFD and hope to have him with us a few more years! Congratulations on your 20 years of service.

Our Achievement Award this year went to Stormie Dotson. Stormie is a volunteer with WFFD, who has recently finished Spartanburg Emergency Service Academy Rookie School No 13. Stormie has put in many hours with the department over her time here. She is continuing her firefighter classes and currently in EMT school. Congratulations to Stormie.
